Here’s our Exclusive Photogallery of the Red Carpet Premiere of Universals “Charlie Wilson’s War” The premiere was held on December 10th at Universal’s Studio fabulous City Walk in Los Angeles.  Appearances by Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Jud Tylor, Congressman Charlie Wilson, and more made for a great evening to promote the film. I’ve heard great reviews of the film and it opens this coming weekend on December 21st

The film stars Tom Hanks as Charlie Wilson, a former East Texas congressman who resides in Lufkin. It is about how Wilson, while living the life of a playboy, used unconventional methods to pull off the most successful covert operation in U.S. history by helping Afghanistan drive the Soviets out of their country. It is based on a book by the same title written by George Crile.
